Universal Storage Group (USG), an award‑winning leader in self‑storage management, is seeking an experienced Area Manager to oversee daily operations across a portfolio of storage facilities. This role is ideal for a high‑caliber operator who thrives in a fast‑paced environment, leads from the front, and knows how to elevate people, performance, and property value.

Key Responsibilities:
• Support and coach store managers
• Conduct site inspections and operational audits
• Oversee budgets, reporting, revenue management, and monthly financial reviews
• Manage hiring, evaluations, training, and performance development
• Direct marketing execution and competitive surveys
• Maintain owner relationships and attend owner meetings
• Travel regularly between assigned facilities

Ideal Candidate:
• Strong operations, customer service, or multi‑site leadership experience
• Confident communicating with teams, owners, and customers
• Financially literate (budgets, cash flow, variances)
• Highly organized, reliable, and detail‑oriented
• Comfortable with software and technology
• Positive attitude, strong follow‑through, and a drive for improvement

Physical Requirements:
This role includes regular walking, inspections, occasional lifting (up to 25 lbs), and hands‑on visibility at the properties you manage.
